Terms & Conditions

Please take a moment to read through the Terms & Conditions before placing your order. By ordering and paying your deposit, you agree to the following:

Booking & Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order and date.
  • Dates are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
  • The full balance is due 7 days before the collection/delivery date.
  • Failure to pay the final balance on time may result in cancellation.

Allergies & Dietary Information

  • All cakes are made in a domestic kitchen that handles allergens including eggs, dairy, gluten, and nuts.
  • I do not offer allergy-free, gluten-free, or vegan cakes at this time.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to inform me of any dietary requirements before placing an order.

Collection & Delivery

  • Cakes are available for collection from Ottery St Mary at a pre-arranged time.
  • Once a cake has been collected, I cannot be held responsible for any damage during transport.
  • Please carry your cake flat and keep it cool, especially in warmer weather.
  • Delivery is available upon request and may be subject to additional charges based on location.

Cancellations & Changes

  • Deposits are non-refundable in all cases.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event will be charged in full.
  • Minor changes to your order may be accepted up to 7 days before the event, but are not guaranteed.
  • If I am unable to complete your order due to illness or emergency, a full refund will be issued.

Cake Design & Inspiration

  • I do not copy other bakers’ work exactly, but I am happy to use images as inspiration.
  • All cakes are handmade, so colours, finishes, and decorations may vary slightly from examples.
  • If you have specific design elements in mind, please share them at the time of booking.

Photos & Social Media

  • I may photograph your cake and share it on my social media and website.
  • If you would prefer your cake not to be shared, please let me know when booking.
